Bonus stars for an involved and sweet staff. Martina, our server was fantastic and our hostess had only worked there for a few days so it was nice to see the manager/owner being positive and encouraging. The food is just as good, if not better, than maybe a location down the road!

Visited the new location for the first time. Reminds me of the old location with the same high quality ingredients and flavors. Will return soon

Treated myself, haven't gone out to eat in a few months, too expensive. But I went to this new Mavericks location and I had their July special hamburger. It was outstanding. Party cooked med rate as I asked all the other ingredients were fresh and not skimpy. It was delicious. I can't eat potatoes, so I had the salad, very generous and again, really fresh ingredients. Service was very good. The restaurant in its prior life, a few different kinds , was dran, it is now bright and clean looking and feeling.

I've been meaning to try the Burlingame location for a while now.   Sometimes, we'd get catered lunch from there.  I was surprised to see a grand opening sign when we were driving,  low and behold it was Maverick Jack's location.  It was super packed, and a lot of people were waiting outside.   I took a chance and figured we'd try to place an order for to-go.  I was greeted and helped right away by 2 ladies.  One seemed to be in training.  While I was waiting for my order, someone came up with my shakes.  He politely asked me, "Do you want me to put it in the fridge while we wait for your order?"  Amazing customer service.      As I sit and wait for my order,  I can't help but notice the retro lights and cute tile decoration.  It gives it a warm and inviting kind of vibe.  There seems to be more seating areas in the back as well.  They were very fast in bussing tables, and I appreciated that they wiped down the menus once they were given back to them by customers.  I feel like a lot of places have been more lax after covid.  I ordered: 1.  Outlaw burger - Bacon cheeseburger with bbq sauce, onion strings,  and Chipotle mayo.  Instead of the onion, strings this one had jalapeños which gave it a kick.  The fries were fries 2.  Onion rings - crispy and juicy when you bite into it. 3.  Strawberry shake - creamy, but the straws were a little too thin to drink out of.  Which made it really difficult to drink.  I had to wait for the shake to melt a lot more. 4.  Chocolate shake - delicious as well.     Overall,  I had a great experience.   Great service, and the food was amazing even considering how busy it was.   Can't wait to come back and try their other items.
